Earl Keese (John Belushi) lives in an orderly house with his wife, Enid (Kathryn Walker), and daughter, Elaine (Lauren-Marie Taylor). His routine is disrupted when loudmouthed Vic (Dan Aykroyd) and his oversexed wife, Ramona (Cathy Moriarty), move in next door. Ramona and Vic subject Earl and his family to a bizarre dinner date and a near-death encounter in the front yard. Soon, Earl is ready to take drastic action to get rid of Vic and Ramona -- but he might lose everything in the process.

I'm really surprised by the low ratings by people Neighbors is a classic dark humor movie. I remember seeing the movie in the theatre. John and Dan are at their peak performance in this film. John plays a man stuck in a rut and then eccentric Dan Aykroyd moves in next door and over night his life is changed. This film deserves a better review than what it is getting here.

I love this movie. Absolutely hilarious. I think it defies what people expect of not just Ackroyd and Belushi, but what a comedy can be. It's dark, silly and hilarious.

Synopsis
