Synopsis
This documentary explores the lives of South Central Los Angeles residents in the aftermath of the 1992 riots. Young students from the neighborhood serve as the film's interviewers, offering through their stories a rich panorama of the inner-city neighborhood. They speak with hardened gang members, a woman who claims her nephew was murdered by the police and an imprisoned young man who helped initiate a gang truce that has since brought some measure of peace to the neighborhood.
