Audience Member A low-budget, crappy version of The Day After Tomorrow. Their depiction of the cataclysmic pole shift hypothesis is not believable, and neither is the fact that the star climatologist of the film predicts *to the second* when Miami, FL will reach absolute zero temperatures, or the fact that the climatologist repeatedly outruns the air itself, in spite of pausing for dramatic effect,. There were many other serious issues with believability. The graphics were okay, until the car sequence, wherein a tree flies through the windshield, a tunnel of absolute zero air flies down toward the car, and clouds from the tunnel overturn the car; all of the above was so poorly rendered that it looked like a homemade video. The story and acting also had serious issues. Only two characters, both minor, where at all likeable; the newly widowed and newly orphaned characters seem to forget to grieve their husband/father's death, and when they do remember, they act very wooden; and the villain is completely ridiculous, dumber than the vast majority of Americans and very, very stupid with money (in spite of boasting early in the film that he's *so good* at obtaining a steady income for their lab). The acting is just horrible. Only a couple actors, again playing minor characters, are any good.
