Claudio C Alien Avengers / Welcome to Planet Earth (1996) The Alien Tourists (11,663 – 02 May 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) When his mother dies, the small-time thug Joseph (Christopher M. Brown) inherits her filth boarding house in a dangerous area of Los Angeles. During a stormy night, the tourist couple Charlie (George Wendt) and Rhonda (Shanna Reed) arrive with their hot daughter Daphne (Anastasia Sakelaris) and rent two rooms for them. On the next day, the house is completely clean and tidied up. Charlie and Rhonda are vigilantes spending vacation hunting down criminals as entertainment. Lieutenant Barnes (Dan Martin) and his partner Detective Watts (Stephen Burrows), who has a beef with Joseph, are in charge of the investigation of the murders in L.A. and the press wants to know whether there is a serial-killer in the city. Meanwhile, |Daphne has one night stand with Joseph and falls in love with him. But Charlie and Rhonda continue their crime spree, and Watts believes Joseph is the killer. “Alien Avengers”, a.k.a. “Welcome to Planet Earth” (1996) is a funny comedy with a gentle couple of alien tourists that come to Earth on vacation entertaining themselves killing lowlife. The plot is very funny, especially Shanna Reed taking pictures of and with her victims. The sexy Anastasia Sakelaris is out of the league of Christopher M. Brown, and their romance is also hilarious. This movie is highly entertaining and fun to watch. "the greatest movie of all time?" why? it sucked. pearl harbor sucked, everything tom cruise was in after days of thunder was shit. yes this movie was terrible, but it wasnt trying to be great, it was trying to be entertaining, and it accomplished that. i guess the recipe is mindless violence, boobs, and any form of humor. the part where the mom cuts some guys throat and then place kicks his head off his body, takes a picture, and remarks, "nice head shot," is classic. oh, and the hot blonde. i guess its a pretty fun movie. george wendt and a delightfully annoying nobody bait criminals into conveniently delinquent situations and murder the everliving shit out of them to teach them a lesson. the cop in this one reminds me of the character in the cheech and chong movies, except he doesnt turn into a lizard. gw is pretty funny. a funny because its so awful movie.
