Ian C A masterpiece. The essence is ultimately Conradian, in that a person in a moment of crisis finds out who they really are as opposed to who they think they are. You probably need to have a basic understanding of the region’s history but if you do it’s a dark masterpiece. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Jon T Watchable but rather lacking in exposition. For much of the movie l did not really know what was going on and wasn't much wiser by the end. The other negative is very intrusive incidental music used to try and heighten drama. Since l did not really know what was going on it was a bit odd. It's not his fault but the lead, Fabrizio Rongione, reminds me of Macron. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review
