Batman (Val Kilmer) faces off against two foes: the schizophrenic, horribly scarred former District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones), and the Riddler (Jim Carrey), a disgruntled ex-Wayne Enterprises inventor seeking revenge against his former employer by unleashing his brain-sucking weapon on Gotham City's residents. To fully understand its multitude of sins requires multiple watches: in one viewing you will notice all of the comedy sound effects, but it takes a whole separate session to realise all of the scenes are in the wrong order.

29 years later, this movie remains as awesome as it first was. I’m instantly back in 1995 and 8 years old again. Val Kilmer gives a great and 3 dimensional performance as Batman and Bruce Wayne. He remains among the best to ever do it and the best of the Burton/Schumacher era. Though the movie has its camp, Batman’s psychology is the heart of the film. Joel Schumacher took care of the character. The movie also tells a fairly accurate Robin and Two Face origin. And Jim Carry is gives it everything he has. This is one of the best Batman movies there is.
