Lydia R Cons: Could have used a better soundtrack for the romantic and emotional scenes, but the amazing chemistry between the main love interests makes up for the lack of sound ambience and cinematography. But I can't even imagine how amazing this movie would be if the soundtrack and cinematography were better. Pros: Amazing chemistry between the main couple and the rest of the cast. The acting felt natural, and I have to give a shout out to Drew Ray Tanner. He absolutely KILLED IT in this role. He plays the male interest heartthrob better than I've seen anyone do it in a while. Honestly, this is the best teen romance movie that I've seen on a streaming service in a while. For example, it's way better than Sidelined: The QB and Me which for some reason got more attention online than this movie did. (Well, I guess that's because of a certain Tik Tok star, but sorry Noah Beck, Drew Ray Tanner hands down is the better heartthrob). Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/25 Full Review Jennifer M I thought the movie was made nicely done. I loved the Storyline and romance in it. Also the friendship 's that where made. That made the movie quite good. Except the only thing is I started reading the book and it was very good to. They tock A lot of stuff out that was in the book. Made the movie different from the book. Like they made Whitney and Axel both read A Fantasy novel that was never in the book. Whitney never Fantased herself as the female character in the book version. I think they did that to make the movie funny, Everything else in the movie was true that came from the book. Also they changed up some character 's looks and changed Isla's name to something else. Also it was Whitney who asked Axel to be her plus one at her sister 's wedding knot Willow. That was another difference they did in the movie knot the book Virson. Everyone who seeing this cute movie read the book so you understand what I am talking about. The book is awesome to. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review A F As a bigger girl myself this movie made me feel very seen and gave me hope. I saw myself in the main character and it made me feel like in was part of the story. I had low expectations of this movie but it was fanominal. I truly love this movie, I could even say its my favorite movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/25 Full Review Susan N It was fine but the conflict love scene was so selfish. She knew the rules, but she wanted him to what? Lose his job to prove how much he "loved" her? This just plays into the narrative that men must do grand gestures to prove their live or else it doesn't mean anything. Ugh! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/25 Full Review Melissa V This was a sweet romcom. Made me think of the ones in the 80's and 90's Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/25 Full Review aurelia j Watching this movie as someone who has lived their life plus-sized, was a good watch. I found it a bit emotional, it showed realistic scenarios and realistic emotions. It wasn't a Fat girl just be happy the hot jock is into you movie. I won't lie, there were some corny scenes as well, but thats what makes romcoms amazing. I don't know what else to say about this movie really. I mean it wasn't like a life changing movie for me, but it was enough to encourage me to write a review on rotten tomatoes for the first time in my life. I would say take it from me, but cheesy movies like this are just my favorite thing in the world, so my opinion might be biased. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews
