Cop Katie Sullivan (Gretchen Becker) shoots two crooks who are robbing a store, and though she's also wounded in the process, reporters cast her as a trigger-happy rogue. Devious police department bosses, hoping to get rid of a public relations problem, plan to kill Sullivan. But Matt Cordell (Robert Z'Dar), a dead cop who's just been resurrected, takes a liking to Sullivan and is determined to mow down her enemies before a police detective, Sean McKinney (Robert Davi), can stop him.

Normally Id suggest weighing the personal importance of a/v quality before upgrading this disc, assuming you already have it on Blu-ray, but the inclusion of the Alan Smithee commentary track makes this an instant recommendation.

Suffers all the let downs of 1 and 2, and few of the redeeming qualities. This is worth a watch as a slop slasher for genre fans for the last sequence alone which features all the pointless explosions and insanities this trilogy has to offer.

At the beginning of Maniac Cop 3 why does Bride of Chucky pop up in my head? Probably with the voodoo incantation at the start. Later in the movie, Bride of Frankenstein did. Though, I think it's creepier in this movie. (https://foreverfinalgirl.com/maniac-cop-3/)
