Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member South Korean (with subtitles), The Royal Tailor is a beautifully filmed period piece about the conflict between the king's tailor and an upstart more talented young designer. For two thirds of the film, it's a lighthearted often silly comedy with likeable characters, but then comes an ending way more tragic than you might have expected or wanted.
