Not sure why people say it was a mixture of other stuff. It's definitely it's own movie. It's definitely not a bad movie. Great music great storyline greatly done and well put together. One of my childhood memories is watching Titan A.E. if you don't like and enjoy this movie there really is something wrong with you. Not to seem mean but seriously must be something wrong with you. This movie Treasure Island Atlantis and the road to El Dorado are platinum bars.

The Tigger Movie came out earlier that year, and The Tigger Movie is still a million times better than this movie. Horrible color scheme, no passion to the performances, predictable, and boring as hell, too. To me, this is the worst Don Bluth movie ever made.

The movie was boring and extremely predictable. Predictable stories aren’t bad if the characters are well rounded but they aren’t sadly. All the characters are worse versions of other great sci-fi characters. They’re very shallow and I don’t remember the names for most of them. The movie lacked tension and I lost interest before it reached the midway point. Visuals and voice acting were okay. The only scene I found interesting was the ice glacier scenes. It was creative but other than that the movie was blander than a stale biscuit.
