Ostojic's lovely black-and-white photography, with its awesome shadows cast across worried faces, gives his upside-down-cake cityscape the sweetness of a romantic fable combined with the sinister if delectable aftertaste of the best film noir.

Good Croatian drama. Interesting stories, filled with sensitivity. The stories do drift at times though, and verge on being trite, but are engaging nevertheless. Good performances all round.

Very good movie that follows several stories entwined eventually around the center of Split city during the last hours of the craziest night in the year. Shows state of society, life in ghetto, problems of the normal people. Second, I know half of the statists, some actors so it was even more fun to me. I could watch it dozen times!

od svih filmova koje pogledah za ispit ovaj je nekako najkompletniji,najrealisticniji (osim scene di mali ubija maminog ljubavnika iz pistolja no dobro). Depresivan kao i svi ostali filmovi. Redatelj kaze da nije film o drogi nego o nesretnim ljubavima koje ostaju neispunjene jer se u njihovu pricu umiijesa neko zlo i ucini ih tragicnima. Ajde, vjerovat cemo mu na rijec. Mada je to "zlo" droga koja, kako pise, direktno ili indirektno uzrokuje smrt po jednog clana svake od triju ljubavnih prica

a croatian movie w/ coolio in it? what could be better, right? most things! drug movie shot in black and white. slow, visually and intellectually boring. only made it through the first 30 minutes before deciding it was a waste of time. felt like an amateur version of dead man.
