Hex x It's not everyone's cup of tea, especially with the animation style, but I love it to bits. Some of it is so bad that it's good, Killy cracks me up all the time, and I LOVE this movie. While Tsutomu Nihei's art style isn't that "pretty", his style matched the dark grim and massive universe of this future "earth." The main protagonist isn't a person with many words. He only speaks to people with a question, "Do you know human with Net Terminal Gene.." and that's almost the entire of his familiar lines throughout the volume. The movie has great cell-shading style 3D, but it failed to capture whole 10 volumes of the manga in to 106 minutes of movie. The story in the movie took place, probably in earliest volume of the manga, so those who doesn't read the manga probably confused about almost everything in it. I love the manga but the 3 star I gave for the movie explained how I feel about this adaptation. But for those who are interested with the manga, you should try to read it. It's one of those timeless classics.
