bill t Somewhat of an oddball movie that tells of a young man who inherits his father's business. Instead of following the small fish in a big pond story, the film somewhat takes a left turn and goes into this story about how his father's firm was going to close a homeless shelter, and the nefarious scheme behind it. It also has this weird subplot of a hobo having a daughter who performs in nightclubs (and hence, the 2 musical numbers in the film). All the plots tended to end up with unsatisfactory conclusions in my book, and too talky to boot. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
