Katherine Sullivan (Bo Derek) is a severe agoraphobic who takes permanent shelter in her home. But, when she witnesses what she believes is the murder of her husband, she is forced to confront the outside world, including a detective investigating the case. When the detective mysteriously disappears, Katherine begins to fear for both her safety and her sanity. Bewildered and petrified, she hires private eye Jack Mize (Stephen Shellen) to look into the strange sequence of events.

nick s I don't know which was worse, the cringe worthy screenwriting or Bo Derek's acting. She may be a household name but Hollywood A lister she ain't. In contrast Stephen Shellen was quite convincing. The movie did work as a page turner & I made it through to the end. It just had a lot of weak scenes and didn't amount to anything memorable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/25 Full Review victor o I caught this for one reason only, Bo Derek. The lovely but not the most talented of actresses, she is still one to watch. A woman with severe agoraphobia is plagued by several strange attacks that provoke her condition, one of them being her husband supposedly being killed. A private investigator is sent to help her out to see if her attacks are legitimate or simply her condition acting up. One thing leads to another, and the woman and the private investigator become lovers all as several various moments prove that the woman is not crazy. There are plenty of strange twists but in the end, it resolves. I got to say that Bo Derek is still gorgeous, and she plays the role she is assigned but it is a cheaply written role. Stephen Shellen is alright with an interesting performance from MASH star Wayne Rogers. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
