Luki S I would ignore the other bad reviews and give it a shot. It's not a perfect film by any stretch, but strong characters, a strong story. It's a very emotive film. I disagree with people who say it's "stereotypical" or "unrealistic for the modern day" It's a film, it's not supposed to be realistic. It's not realistic that you can get bitten by a spider and start climbing walls all of a sudden but nobody calls spiderman unrealistic. Homophobia like this still exists in the modern world and the actors and story portrays that very well.
