Rose P The writers and makers of this film have zero respect for the audience. A complete mess of a film which is a shame because it could have been spectacular. Rated 1/5 Stars •  Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review clowny m firstly , im lost as to why theres NO reviews here ?? id def watch again at least once with fresh eyes personally .. but getting into it ,, honestly wast sure how to feel about it at first bc i usually scout tubi for what i call "shitty horror movies" bc i like watching low budget horrors with my eyes open for potential/hidden gems .. and i might have found one !! great quality , great story , the acting wasnt bad at all imo , and the title reference to the hippocampus (memory part of the brain) ?? thats so smart ?? and (spoilers) halfway thru the pieces come together and i went "oh no :( he just wanted her to remember :(" and then the END ??? or what i THOUGHT ?? was the end ?? THEN U REMEMBER THE BEGINNING AND IT LOOPS !! then the real end where the intentions and story overall come into question like ?? (end of spoiler) TBH i was surprised no wattpad girlies brought me here given the trope ?? main guy tom was literally so nice the whole movie considering the circumstance/narrative bc idc man i wouldve sucked it up and dealt bc damn !!!! idc what his intentions were he was treating her so gently and patiently the ENTIRE time :((( Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Audience Member What a stupid silly plot line. Sometimes you can tell a lot about a movie but just reading the plot. This is one of them. I figured it couldn't really be as bad as it sounded but it was way worse than that. To be honest, it was kind of hard to get through all the cliches of the first 20 minutes. The guy's voice? Come on. After that, it was equally hard to make it through the rest of the movie. How these films get made I will never, ever understand. I keep assuming they're a byproduct of a nation with way too many rich parents with bored offspring who want to be able to tel people that they're an ‘actor' or ‘director' and really if you have rich parents, that's quite easy. Just put together a movie that doesn't require a green light from anyone but daddy and you're good to go. The only tough part? You're not really an actor or a director, you're just a rich kid with too much time and not enough experience or drive. Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member An intriguing tale of an unrequited love gone very wrong The would-be lover and the recipient of said love do not get to realise their relationship, as it is taken away from them due to an act of chivalrous bravery on the part of the would-be lover, who kills the man pining for a love he will never be able to attain, as his is unrequited Bizarrely, the would-be lover 'kidnaps' the woman who is the subject of his affections (the victim of rape, at the hands of the man pining for her love), so as to lead her recovery from retrograde amnesia, only to ultimately suffer at the hands of the kidnapped victim - ironically, the woman who he loved and lived for ... or, does he? Started with a large dose of ham, and only warmed towards the end.
