Critics Consensus

Man Trouble has brilliant stars and the germ of an interesting idea in its favor, which makes the scattered, unfunny results even more of a disappointment.

Blu B Yeah this is awful. Barkin & Jack aren't good at all together. They have no chemistry at all and the dialouge isn't good in this at all either. The humor got one good laugh with that Iwo Jima joke but the rest is terrible or flat. Everyone else isn't good either thanks to the humor and dialouge. The music isn't good either. The comedic music is out of place and the romantic stuff is boring and forgettable. The cinematography is cheap, looks like a step above a made for 온라인카지노추천 movie, and the direction isn't good either with basic stuff at best. Everything else is just bad man. The second half...the subplots with the friend getting kidnapped, the manuscript, Harry Dean Stanton why he appears, and other stuff....bro I don't even know what is happening. I seriously have no clue what was going on. The poor dialouge and humor makes it so hard to even comprehend whats happening. It jumps around terribly between all the suboplots and will change on a dime. I love how Jack's wife is all but forgotten like how Finn has to tell Rey something in Rise of Skywalker. It just alternates between flat/bad humor and watching Jack & Barkin have romance together with no chemistry at all. Just rinse and repeat and than add getting lost. Skip This. One of the worst Nicholson movies I've seen. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Audience Member The Chefs' had the ingredients to deliver a Beef Wellington, but all we got was a dogs dinner.
