I was surprised at what I thought would be a b movie, turned out to be pretty damn good! The main character did a great job and I felt his acting was top notch. Pleasantly surprised by how good this was!

Oh my god. This movie begins with an absolute stellar premise. It has a wonderful slow build with what at first seems to be a relatively underwhelming climax. A great psychological thriller movie for the majority of the movie and in the last about 15 minutes it goes off the wall batshiz crazy. I absolutely loved it. Just the pure insanity of this movies ending took it from a 3.5 to 5 for me. I was honestly ticked off that the first part of the movie was so slow when their ending was so wild. They ended up smooshing two movies into one with this movie and while I love both concepts so much. I was left wanting with the ending though. It feels like their should be a sequel to the movie they set up in the last 15 minutes. I do kind of wish they had left this movie ending at the final camp sit and then just done a sequel movie for the rest of it. Still though freaking amazing movie, amazing concept, incredibly good CGI considering the budget, and the main actor really caries the film. I will definitely watch this again and probably force some friend to endure it too. If you love dumb, low budget horror movies then this is absolutely the movie for you.
