Anton Bitel Sight & Sound comedy itself is also one of the film's dividing lines of Islamic identity, as Cassim and Ebrahim negotiate (and redefine) together how many ha's it takes to pass from what is 'halal' (permissible) to what is 'halaam' (sinful).
