James Mudge easternKicks.com Whilst Missing is distasteful, it's an effective and entertaining piece of genre film making. A more exploitative beast than other Korean true crime outings, it's an enjoyably nasty effort, boosted by a solid cast and plenty of seedy shocks. Rated: 3.5/5 •  Sep 16, 2020 Full Review Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy It's not a great film, maybe not even a good one, but it's pretty good at being unlike what it seems to be. It should mildly satisfy gore hounds and horror enthusiasts. Jan 16, 2020 Full Review

Audience Member A chilling story inspired by a true story of a serial killer in Korea. Superb performance by three main characters, esp. Moon Sung-Geun as the killer. Thought provoking about how many of these real psychopaths are living in society as respected members of their communities. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Something of an entry into the torture porn category from South Korea. Quite well made but far from original.
