Sator left my wife and I struggling (and using Wiki) to understand the basic plot and characters. Excellent visual art though it is, the background music, Rachmaninoff methinks coupled with the strange quotations taken almost directly from Malachi 3:1-4, would seem to weave a deeper plot but they are simply window dressing not fleshed out.

Original and atmospheric. You can tell how much love and care went into this and the filmmaker deseves the utmost respect for it. Unfortunately, it let me down by taking its potential originality down a very mundane path that we've seen many time before. A shame, as the concept and style could have lead to something thoroughly unique.

Terrible. I spent $5 on this bs. Maybe I'm not some dark film student that appreciates no dialogue or any sort of scare action so I don't get it. To just a regular horror movie fan looking for some entertainment this was absolute trash.

Most people wouldn't like this movie, but those that do connect with it become immersed in it. This movie is eerie and mesmerizing in ways that I haven't seen before. Perhaps I'm under Sator's spell, or maybe I'm just crazy.
