Marco L (ENGLISH) Despite featuring Orlando Bloom as its lead, this action and espionage film turns out to be a forgettable and poorly executed product. The plot, centered on the transport of valuable art tangled with mafias and fights, adds nothing new to the genre and gets trapped in clichés and absurd situations that fail to connect with the audience. The performances, including Bloom's, lack depth, and the script offers no meaningful dialogues or situations to develop interesting characters. Additionally, the protagonist sports an unconvincing and poorly designed look that doesn't help his presence feel authentic within the story's context. In terms of action, the sequences fall far short of expectations for this kind of movie. The fights and chases are simplistic, with uninspired choreography and a lack of excitement. While some aerial views of Shanghai are appreciated, they are not enough to make up for the film's many shortcomings.
