I mean, the Bourne chase music was nice but there was nothing - NUH-THING interesting about the plot that couldn't have been clear-up in a few minutes of lazy dialog. What astonishes me most is that the idea of a computer like RIPLEY taking over the phony war on terror had some interesting possible lessons to be learned but the writers and director clearly gave up on including action, intrigue and mystery in the story. The acting was really grating, fake emotions everywhere, the devices brought in from the first film were used inappropriately: I was charmed initially to see WOPR once more, but then failed to see I used well. The characters were formulaic, and the plot and flow was terribly confused and rushed. I wish it hadn't been made, as it was a disservice to the original film.
