Joel Keller Decider The Walking Dead: Dead City doesn’t really give the Walking Dead franchise anything new to examine. May 8, 2025 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba Ten years ago, Morgan brought scads of charisma and menace to the role. A decade later, the franchise has wrung it all out of him. He hung on too long. Now it feels like he’s trapped in the character. May 5, 2025 Full Review Amy West Total Film While it gets a little bogged down with too many characters, and sometimes prioritizes ambitious action sequences over cohesive storytelling, there's plenty here to enjoy... Rated: 3.5/5 May 2, 2025 Full Review Ricky Valero FandomWire Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohen make the writer's job easy as they consistently deliver within Negan and Maggie, making Season 2 well worthy of a watch. Rated: 7/10 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Matt Fowler IGN Movies There are still exciting moments here and there, but the most interesting part is just how much of a contrarian punk Hershel's become. Rated: 6/10 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Sarah Moran Screen Rant The Walking Dead: Dead City goes weirder in season 2, with more eccentric groups, all the while continuing its introspective look at Maggie and Negan. Dexter A The show throughout the years has had its ups and downs, the spin off with Negan and Maggie I think is perfect, with season 2 it's a little watered down compared to s7 or 8 but never less doesn't disappoint. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/21/25 Full Review Maarten v I did like the first season, it was a twist to the old 'escape from Manhattan' story with psychotic gangs. But the second one is simply atrocious. Especially the writing, it's just.... very stupid. Feels like AI slob or that nobody really cares. For example: the whole idea of an 'army' of a handful larping, untrained randos in a tiny boat taking over a huge city, filled with zombies and multiple gangs: "We've been planning this for months!" Absolute cinema, guys. The special effects are amateuristic, the extras in the background have no clue what to do, Negan is depressed and Maggie obsessed. Whatever, I'm done after three episodes Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/20/25 Full Review Clyde F This has lost all the magic that made the original Walking Dead so great. Just feels so mailed in. And look i get its 온라인카지노추천, but every single leader, Governor, etc is a woman. In the post apocalypse leaders of violent gangs and militias wouldn't be 50-60 yr old women. It's just gotten beyond ridiculous that every male character Has to be deferential to a woman Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/20/25 Full Review Slick R S2 is not as good as S1. It's like a budget version of Last of Us. The CGI is extremely bad for some reason, it's much worse than S1. I guess they don't have the budget anymore to make decent CGI of apocalypse New York. And the acting is just bad now... I'm not sure why even with Negan and Maggie but it must be because of the script and plot. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/29/25 Full Review Colin M Great show hope they keep it going! Dont understand why others dont Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Dave M As with all the TWD spinoffs I so looked forward to seeing and so wanted to love this. I thought the first season was OK but am really not getting into the second season. For me as a massive fan of the original 11 seasons (which I have watched at least 3 times) The magic has gone. The acting is still great, the production values still high but its just not as enthralling. I preferred the Ones Who Lived and The Daryl Dixon seasons although again, not as much as the old stuff. I think I'll wait till all the episodes are released, binge them and hope for an amazing ensemble get together season to finally wrap the whole thing up.
