Audience Member Such a good premise, some very real issues and moments captured of an non resident alien, but absolutely ruined by terrible dialogue and bad editing. This should've been a short film. It really brings out the life stories of many H1bs but neatly packages all the experiences into our hero's journey navigating the US immigration policies which are not stacked up in his favor. Some real touching moments in the story are how his dating life is dictated by the GC situation; his long term plans and the tension he has to live with as a normal while his GC filing time is running out. Really insightful movie that H1bs both in present in the US as well as those no longer in the US can relate to. The creator of the movie did a great service by making this film and using humor to lighten the real life tragic situation of many voiceless people in the current landscape in the US. Has a backdrop in the bay area and minor garnishing of bollywood style dance sequences too. with jibes of comedy infused into a serious plot, it's an all round entertainer! There was great deal of attention to detail in this movie. Hats off to the director Rucha. Even though the topic of immigration gets boring in general, the movie depicts it with humor, fun, bollywood masala and great visuals. I feel the movie is not just for Indians in Immigration limo, its for every one in the country Americans, Whites, Indians to understand a completely different life that legal Immigrants have to live. Instead of Americans, always criticizing legal immigrants for taking away their jobs, this movie sincerely depicts the other side of the coin. And most importantly resonates the feelings of most Indian Americans like me who are frustrated with the US immigration restrictions and pains and are thinking about moving back to India. Hats off! for bringing this topic to main stream :). I hope that everyone can make a statement, promoting American workers, and those who have been laid off or fired due to the H1-B Visa program by boycotting this movie.
