Audience Member A pretty atmospheric firefighting drama set in a modern powerstation on a christmas eve where maintaining power overruled preserving lives, for some. Would recommend "The Tower" over this one if firefighter disaster is your thing. Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review camille l As The Light Goes Out est un film visuellement remarquable, dans lequel Derek Kwow se sert parfaitement de son budget pour y orchestrer des séquences de destruction plutôt impressionnantes. C'est dommage qu'il ait complètement oublié que pour qu'on soit investi dans l'histoire, il fallait aussi des personnages intéressants et non pas des clichés ambulants comme celui de Nicholas Tse ou de Simon Yam. Les acteurs essaient donc de faire le maximum avec ce qu'ils ont à jouer et on les a tous vu bien meilleurs ailleurs, comme Hu Jun, qui est très mal servi par son personnage. As The Light Goes Out est aussi bien trop long pour son propre bien.
