the weakest in the series but still gives a whole lot of heart

My favorite Rocky movie. It gets undeserved criticism. The storyline is great and feels the most real out of all the Rocky's, except for #1. I get the chills at the final montage everytime.

Stallone, whose greatest creation was Rocky, admits this movie should have never have been made. The highlight was the tragic Tommy ‘Gunn’ Morrison who I felt was great.

From Rocky 1-4, the stakes seemed to be getting higher at every movie. Rocky 4 was about avenging the death of his best friend and basically ending the cold war with a boxing match (I know how stupid that sounds but still a great movie). Rocky 5 is about.....what, exactly? The story just seemed very hallow without Carl Weathers in it some how, some way. As overrated as Eye of the Tiger is, it's still a pretty boss song thus making the 3rd movie a great edition, while showing how Apollo recovers from his emotional trauma by helping his formal rival get back on top. Again, I ask you - Rocky 5 was about.....what, exactly?

The fifth part of Rocky, in my opinion, is the worst of all parts, even Sylvester Stallone himself said that it was some incomprehensible crap. Since the conflict is completely incomprehensible, the final fight is generally some kind of stupid fight.

While bold for taking a new direction, 'Rocky 5' falls hard from grace with a much weaker story, and much lower stakes.

Rocky 5 is a dull film with a predictable plot. There are times where this doesn't even feel like Rocky's movie. A sequel that the franchise could have definitely done without.

I love the Rocky franchise, but sadly, this film lets all the others down. It is a terrible Rocky story where Stallone's ideas were clearly not presented the right way on a screen. Very poor from start to finish.

Sylvester Stallone himself has given this movie a 0 out of 10. That's all that needs to be said. It's so bad it's pathetic.

Interesting character who ends up being a disgrace to his teacher. Full of traditional boxing exploitation, easy on the eyes.

This movie changed my life. I've whacked off to it at least four times.... Watching this iconic actor get shredded for this role that he created when he was young.... I admire him. If I come back in my second life I want to come back as Sylvester Stallone. Ayooo Adrian it's me rock hard
