Gordon Smith

Gordon Smith began his career in the entertainment industry as an office production assistant for "Breaking Bad" (AMC, 2008-12). He went on to co-write a "Breaking Bad" mini-featurette and then become a staff writer for the crime drama "Better Call Saul" (AMC, 2015-22), a "Breaking Bad" spin-off. In 2015, Smith was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on the "Five-O" episode of "Better Call Saul" in the Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series category. He was promoted to story editor, then producer and the award nominations kept coming. In 2018, he won a Writers Guild of America Award for his work on the "Chicanery" episode. Smith continued up the ladder and became supervising producer, then co-executive producer and director. Gordon Smith has a new television drama in development.
