Bagus sih di awal, namun ketika sang psycopath ketahuan siapa, kualitasnya lalu menurun....

Beautifully filmed and nuanced psychological thriller about an insurance investigator looking in to deaths and accidents surrounding a psychopathic femme fatale. Koreans are good at making these kind of movies. The climax is reminiscent of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but much sillier and implausible.

Horrifying in parts, but makes little sense even by slasher movie standards. Drags on beyond any interest, and too many mistimed twists become embarrassing to watch.

The Korean remake is fun if you don't think about it much. Why did the police not arrest a woman that has killed two of her husbands and her child for insurance money. Especially when she recently cut off the arms of her third husband for the same purpose. Was she really not flagged after two of her husbands died suspiciously? Not only does poindexter go to the serial killers lair to rescue his girlfriend without even a knife or scissors, he manages to stun her and doesn't take the opportunity to attack. Instead he tries to open an obviously locked door, and once he finally does some damage he doesn't finish! It's just amazing. Fantastic ending, great cinematography and an emotive score make it well worth watching. The effects and settings are brilliant.
