Bill Arceneaux Neaux Reel Idea Doesn't exactly do well in covering up its own inadequacies but does articulate some fascinating resonance in depicting the many voices that one body can carry. Rated: 3/5 May 15, 2020 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Armed with only a handful of minutes, Cherzoso manages to capture the runaway-train nature of emotions. Audience Member Dreams and reality intersect. Lovely. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Fascinating and strange! Complicated while minimal. Nice! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this film! Such a brave choice to make it silent and also deal with such weighty human problems. Ms. Chapel wrote, produced, directed and starred. What a haunting performance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved the costumes, backstage set, and black and white photography was stunning. Tracy Ann Chapel's acting was spot on, and I believed everything about her performance. Cherzoso The Silent Film is a dichotomy of characters that includes an escort, a boyfriend, a pimp, a mother, a sister, a son, and a clown. The silence is disturbed by sound effects and the discordant piano, similar to the soundtrack style used on some of the very first silent films made. The film truly had an impact on me. I loved being transported into her world. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more from this talented artist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review barkley k It takes moxie to make a film like Cherzoso in only 6 minutes. "Cherzoso The Silent Short Film," is a classic noir story, reminiscent of films in the past about show-business and silent clowns. The set design is beautiful and has a photo of a clown mask on the wall. The cinematography makes a gorgeous statement. A range of emotions is played out by actress, Tracy Ann Chapel's performance, where Cherzoso finds redemption in a silent bullet shot from her gun. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a wonderful film. I loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
