Audience Member Charming German "Heimat"-movie. The story of a butch crook who pretends to be a priest in order to remain undiscovered. Yet, through his involuntary change of place in the world he begins to question his own ways and views of moraiity. A very slow paced but beautiful little gem. I reckon it is nearly impossible to track this movie down outside of Germany, so I will refrain from recommending it to my friends. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
