It's dificult to catch the charme of an original movie series and this movie didn't make it. Feels just like another modern german kids movie and somehow it even turned into a horse-movie. I mean, they had a horse in one of the books but it became the content of more than half of the movie time. Go and watch the original movies with part 1 - 3, those are the best.
