This nonetheless features many bridging scenes with Harrison on the telephone, though a pre-Garfield model. Much of this coherence may be credited to Phillip Ko Fei, as the intermittent fight scenes featuring Harrison in double-friendly ninja cowl are likely his work to a great extent. Despite Harrison's undercover ninja/cop shenanigans and an odd blue brick training montage, there is far too much sense here for my taste. The dubbing is often in complete sentences with smooth phrasing, sadly, and no amount of ninja mascara will make Bowles half as entertaining as Mike Abbot. I've seen stupid movies, but this is stupid. apparently there's a ninja who walks around and handcuffs other ninjas for no apparent reason. I guess that's why it was originally called "To catch a Ninja". There' also a subplot about an undercover officer named wallace Lee. Guess what his boss' name is? Bruce. Get it? Lee? Bruce? You mean Bruce lee? I've seen some REALLY stupid movies. it's from the same director as "Zombie vs. Ninja" , Godfrey Ho. I can't decide if it's a downright terrible movie or if it's genial, because there is nothing in between! I bought it for about 2$ when I saw the box art containing ninjas on winged motorcycles with built in machine guns and rockets. Well, I guess it was worth the money. First out, if you are to see this film, don't try to follow the plot! We did, and when the ending rolled up everyone in the room cried out in confusion and agony, because it got to be one of the most randomly confusing flicks I've seen! There are apparently two stories in it, with different characters connected with a single thread of half-rotten spiderweb; one consisting of some sort of soft porn drama, the other of random ninja action. The soft porn part is, well... stupid. The ninja action is... okay, remeber Tim the magican from "Monty python and The Holy Grail"? It's just like that, only more! Ah, OK. In retrospect, Ninja the Protector, The Ninja Protector or whatever the name of the movie is, was damn amusing. Just remember that it might drive you to insanity. Try just to think of it as, rather than a movie, a couple of scenes with countless hilarious lines, 5 minutes characters, insane ninja fights, lame motorcycle jousting, sleazy beach scenes and...
