In 2155, through a multi-dimensional portal, an alien invasion annihilates nearly the entire human race. Some of the people who manage to survive are miners hidden on the dark side of the moon. Years after the invasion, and with the use of new technology, three soldiers are sent back to Earth. Their plan is to connect with the human resistance and end the occupation of the aliens. Upon arrival, our three heroes soon find themselves face to face with the all-powerful guardian of the portal known as the Sentinel and its army. Despite being completely outnumbered, the soldiers are determined to accomplish their mission at any cost and reclaim Earth.

Sierra G I actually only got to through the first two minutes before looking up it's tomatometer score. I was worried I was just being too picky until the guy's head got cut off and it looked like a middle schooler did the CGI in Adobe After Effects. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/25 Full Review James W Such a s movie whoever directed this please do us all a favor and don't make another movie again and how in the hell did Disney even put this on their streaming app come on Disney this movie sucks is it just me or a lot of s movies go to Disney now. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Ken G Welcome my Fellow Lunarians (and Moonlings)! The truth is that Sentinel IS visually interesting in itself and perhaps best watched with the volume turned off and a Pink Floyd album (like Dark Side of the Moon) substituted for a soundtrack. Mind altering chemicals might also improve the total viewing experience. This is essentially a zombie attack film (think The Crazies) sandwiched between some science fictional Vaporwave music video book ends about an H.R. Giger-esque xenomorph, the Moon's President and a fun Lesbian cyborg sex sequence. Had this movie explored the Lesbian cyborg sex angle more thoroughly, I could highly recommend it. (Sequel perhaps?) If you're squeezed for time, turn the movie off at the end of the Lesbian cyborg sex sequence. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Scott B I only watched the first 10 minutes. The FX look like something from a 1970s B movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/03/25 Full Review Ryan D Only getting the 0.5 stars because it doesn’t let you leave zero. Video games with a single writer/artist/designer/programmer doing it all have turned out better plots, and more engaging characters. Hell, they’ve turned out better NPCs than these people portray main characters. Truly awful, and not even in the fun b-movie vein of awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/24/24 Full Review Crystal B Every bit as bad as previous reviewers have said. How far Michael Pare', once a heartthrob, has fallen. At least he got to play The President once in his career. The story idea is a good one, and I'm certain someone with more money and better connections in LaLa Land will poach it and make a far more palatable film. It is in the execution, where this film failed miserably. Horrible dated CGI and special effects, fake looking armor/space suits, and the film not quite knowing which lane it was in. Yes, just like a previous reviewer stated, suddenly zombies, amidst a sci-fi alien film. When the zombie started shrieking, waking up the sentinel (I guess), it was time to turn it off.
