Quinzinho (Matheus Nachtergaele) lives on a farm with his wife, Zulmira (Gorete Milagres), and son, Neco (Vinícius Miranda). When the boy turns 10, his father takes him to see a movie starring famous Brazilian actor Amácio Mazzaropi. Quinzinho would like to continue the tradition and take Neco to see more of the actor's movies. The only problem is that Mazzaropi's films are now very hard to find. So Quinzinho and his family hit the road in the hopes of finding a theater that has one.

O horror por trás das lendas e crendices está sempre atrelado à jornada do herói que encontra seus seres mitológicos (seja o Diabo ou Arcanjos) na sua busca por uma chance de se dar bem na vida. O filme não perde tempo e insere críticas sociais pesadas à à (C)poca, seja no vià (C)s político, social ou religioso. Salvo a cena em questão, em que o protagonista se depara com o culto ao cinema que fora substituído pelo culto ao Deus Cristão, pois o local do cinema se tornou uma igreja. Filmes assim retratam a riqueza do cenário brasileiro.
