Audience Member From a historical perspective, this 1937 film is a gem! As a social commentary on homelessness, single parenting and the difficult life situations in which young women find themselves, it shows compassion and caring with a sprinkler of humor and sweet, young innocent romance. Something that is a rare quality in today's American Life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
