I gave an extra star cause I have a thing for blondes. The CGI for the alligators looks like a early 2000’s movie The acting is average but when you’ve clicked on a movie that has convicts and alligators do you really care? The plot is a good base for a great movie, it just isn't.

As far as a Jaws style monster movie, it’s very cliche and there’s not a single surprise the whole movie. It’s all been done a thousand times before. However the worst part for me is the mixing of alligators and crocodiles, using them interchangeably. It’s based in Louisiana where the largest population of alligators is in the world and no one could get footage of them? They had to used stock videos of Nile crocs (in Africa) and bad CGI that move more like dogs than any reptile. How many people approved of this before it was made? Not a single one of them could use google to see what an alligator looks like?
