David Raksin
Best known for his haunting scores for "Laura" (1944) and the Vincente Minnelli melodramas, "The Bad and the Beautiful" (1944) and "Two Weeks in Another Town" (1962), Raksin began his film career as the music arranger for Charlie Chaplin's "Modern Times" (1936).
