Everley Gregg was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Gregg's career beginnings included film roles in the Charles Laughton dramatic period piece "The Private Life of Henry VIII" (1933), "The Ghost Goes West" (1935) with Robert Donat and "Pygmalion" (1938) with Leslie Howard. Gregg made film her next project, appearing in the drama "The Demi-Paradise" (1943) with Laurence Olivier, "The Magic Box" (1951) and the Alec Guinness comedy "Father Brown" (1954). She also appeared in "The Man Who Never Was" (1956) and the comedic adaptation "Carry On, Admiral" (1957) with David Tomlinson. Later in her career, Gregg acted in the Laurence Harvey dramatic adaptation "Room at the Top" (1959). Gregg passed away in June 1959 at the age of 56.
