Lynton Brent

Lynton Brent was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Brent landed roles in various films, including "The Intruder" (1933), the drama "Our Daily Bread" (1934) with Karen Morley and "Mystery Mountain" (1934). He also appeared in "Guilty Parents" (1934), "Ladies Crave Excitement" (1935) and "It Couldn't Have Happened" (1936). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Bridge of Sighs" (1936), the Gene Autry western "The Old Corral" (1937) and the John Arledge drama "County Fair" (1937). He also appeared in the western "Rollin' Plains" (1938) with Tex Ritter. Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in "The Utah Trail" (1938) with Tex Ritter, the western "Red River Valley" (1941) with Roy Rogers and the western "Forbidden Trails" (1941) with Buck Jones. He also appeared in the Buck Jones western "The Gunman From Bodie" (1941) and "Junior G-Men of the Air" (1942). Brent last acted in the Johnny Mack Brown western "Raiders of the Border" (1944). Brent passed away in July 1981 at the age of 84.
