American YouTuber Sean Evans is widely known for creating and hosting the series "Hot Ones" (2015- ), where he interviews celebrities as they eat spicy chicken wings. Evans grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in broadcast journalism. He used to interview celebrities as a freelancer for Complex Magazine until they eventually hired him full-time. Evans wanted to explore a fresh take on interviews, however, and came up with the concept for "Hot Ones" alongside co-creator and host Chris Schonberger.
