Rule Breakers (2025) 84% “Rule Breakers is not just an underdog story, it’s about the human need to triumph over oppression, to be courageous in the face of discrimination, and to stand up for the truth that knowledge can give power to the powerless.” – Pauline Media Studies Feb 25, 2025 Full Review From Ground Zero (2024) 98% “The thread that ties these short films together is their snapshots of humanity. The people in these films are just like us, trying to make sense out of what their lives have become. The film gives us the opportunity to listen to these human stories.” – Pauline Media Studies Jan 9, 2025 Full Review Fighting Spirit: A Combat Chaplain's Journey (2024) “Going through such an experience helped Struecker remember this faith. He says, “I remember what my faith really means. I can go home to my family in Georgia, or I can go home to my father in heaven. I have nothing to fear.” ” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 9, 2024 Full Review The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (2024) 92% “When Beth gets frustrated with Imogene, she complains to her mom. Grace’s answer to Beth is a good reminder for all of us to practice the admonition of Jesus to love our enemies: “Jesus was born for the Herdmans as much as he was for us.” ” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Conclave (2024) 93% “From the perspective of the Catholic Church, Conclave offends by taking this sacred ritual which is supposed to inspire faith, humility, and trust in the providence of God, and turns it into a disturbing commentary on human weakness and ambition.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Average Joe (2024) “Joe wonders why God chose him to be the face of the fight for religious freedom and the upholding of First Amendment rights. He’s just an average guy. That goes to show us that, average though we may be, God has a mission, a plan, for each of us.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Heart of a Servant: The Father Flanagan Story (2024) “Father Flanagan’s vision was that of the Gospel. His philosophy was that there was no such thing as a bad boy. They just need love and guidance and that is just what he gave them, along with family, education, and civic responsibility.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review The Forge (2024) 63% “one cannot deny that the kind of mentoring showcased in the film could be of spiritual benefit to teens and young adults, especially those looking for direction in their lives.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 7, 2024 Full Review Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot (2024) 83% “Sound of Hope is more than just a movie. It's a call to action. ” – Pauline Media Studies Jun 21, 2024 Full Review Sight (2023) 76% “Sight is more than just a movie about Dr. Ming Wang and his amazing achievements in sight restoration. It’s an exploration of darkness and light. ” – Pauline Media Studies Jun 7, 2024 Full Review The Blue Angels (2024) 83% “The Blue Angels is something we can all rally around and feel good about our patriotism, no matter where we fall politically.” – Pauline Media Studies May 15, 2024 Full Review Wildcat (2023) 59% “A hope is that people unfamiliar with O’Connor’s writings may be inspired to pick them up after understanding a little bit more of the background behind them.” – Pauline Media Studies May 9, 2024 Full Review Irena's Vow (2023) 85% “ In a time when our society is experiencing serious polarization, Irena's Vow is a stark reminder that, despite our differences, sacrificing for the sake of others is a noble action that even the humblest of us can do.” – Pauline Media Studies Apr 18, 2024 Full Review Someone Like You (2024) 46% “Someone Like You puts the audience right alongside Dawson as he grapples with the conflicting feelings he's having.” – Pauline Media Studies Mar 28, 2024 Full Review Arthur the King (2024) 69% “One of the wonderful things about this film is watching the transformation of Wahlberg's Michael from a self-absorbed, disgraced athlete to a real team player, who's more interested in the welfare of his teammates and their surprise mascot, than winning.” – Pauline Media Studies Mar 22, 2024 Full Review One Life (2023) 90% “One Life is a lovely reminder that there are good people in the world, who are willing to do what is right, regardless of the cost, in generosity and humility.” – Pauline Media Studies Mar 14, 2024 Full Review Under the Influencer (2023) 100% “A fascinating character study.” – Pauline Media Studies Jan 3, 2024 Full Review Freud's Last Session (2023) 44% “Freud's Last Session is thought-provoking and imaginative but misses the opportunity to go deeply into any of the arguments that are bandied about during the film.” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 21, 2023 Full Review The Shift (2023) 34% “As a fan of the science fiction genre, I think the idea of a faithful man stuck in a faithless universe could have been a fascinating one. It is unfortunate that The Shift fails to give the audience enough reason to care about what happens.” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 21, 2023 Full Review The Boys in the Boat (2023) 57% “If you're searching for a movie to see over the Christmas holidays that's good for the whole family, look no further than The Boys in the Boat.” – Pauline Media Studies Dec 19, 2023 Full Review How I Learned to Fly (2023) 71% “How I Learned to Fly gives the audience a fly-on-the-wall look into a situation that should bring us to righteous anger at the plight of these boys and so many like them.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 29, 2023 Full Review Trolls Band Together (2023) 64% “Trolls Band Together, the third outing, is as colorful and glittery as the last ones, but the characters seem to have nowhere to go.” – Pauline Media Studies Nov 16, 2023 Full Review The Burial (2023) 92% “This crowd-pleaser is a true David and Goliath story that's sure to have you cheering in your seat.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 12, 2023 Full Review Mother Teresa & Me (2022) “Mother Teresa & Me should be able to hold its own alongside other films about this great saint but the inclusion of Kavita's story means that neither plot line gets the full attention it deserves.” – Pauline Media Studies Oct 5, 2023 Full Review My Sailor, My Love (2022) 90% “A gentle story of love late in life and the complex family dynamics that can come with it.” – Pauline Media Studies Sep 28, 2023 Full Review
