You're Cordially Invited (2025) 48% 6/10 “You’re Cordially Invited is a fun film to stream with friends or family. With themes of generational trauma, relationships, and honesty, there’s something there for everyone, even if that something overstays its welcome a little too long. ” – Geek Vibes Nation Mar 15, 2025 Full Review Twisters (2024) 75% 3/5 “Landing somewhere between a legacy sequel and soft reboot, with the feel of a blockbuster but also a subtle reflection on community and global warming, Twisters doesn’t quite make good use of the actors assembled.” – Naija Nerds Sep 20, 2024 Full Review The Killer's Game (2024) 46% 3/5 “Blending gory fights, romance, and flashy stunts, Perry’s action-comedy knows what type of film it is and accomplishes its goals by effectively communicating the life of an assassin who’s done everything possible to stay private and alive.” – Naija Nerds Sep 20, 2024 Full Review Alien: Romulus (2024) 80% 3.5/5 “Alien: Romulus is a solid entry for the Alien franchise. Not coming for the top spot of most fan rankings, but also not deserving of last place as Alvarez’s entry handles its place on the timeline well.” – Naija Nerds Sep 20, 2024 Full Review Transformers One (2024) 89% 3.5/5 “Transformers One is convincing, fast-paced, layered, and a joy to keep up with.” – Naija Nerds Sep 20, 2024 Full Review Do the Right Thing (1989) 92% “Do The Right Thing has been recognized as a classic by critics, fans, and organizations. 온라인카지노추천 and film have mimicked and parodied, but what truly solidifies it is that we need the text in order to understand our own world. ” – The Streamr Sep 20, 2024 Full Review Jim Henson Idea Man (2024) 98% 8/10 “The film praises Henson's innovative spirit, highlighting his ability to blend technology with storytelling to revolutionize puppetry and entertainment.” – Geek Vibes Nation Sep 20, 2024 Full Review Rebel Ridge (2024) 95% 8/10 “If Netflix is listening, these are the types of original films general audiences show up for and would likely pay to see in theaters...This is a quiet thriller and alternative western with a clear understanding of genre and craft.” – Geek Vibes Nation Sep 20, 2024 Full Review American Fiction (2023) 93% “American Fiction is the film we need, though it likely won’t change the landscape.” – The Streamr May 8, 2024 Full Review Freud's Last Session (2023) 44% 7.5/10 “Freud’s Last Session is a quiet biography, one with a small scope and large waves. Debuting during an amazing year for cinema, the film deserves to be in the conversation with some of the other great ensembles of last year.” – Geek Vibes Nation May 8, 2024 Full Review Spirited Away (2001) 96% “Spirited Away reminds me of how our friends, our work family, or the people we pass by in life can become more familial than our blood relations.” – The Streamr Jan 2, 2024 Full Review Oppenheimer (2023) 93% 5/5 “Nolan is a master of adding tension where there is very little, while deflating strenuous moments and creating an environment that is almost unbearable.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Barbie (2023) 88% 4.5/5 “One of the main keys to Barbie’s success is commitment to the Barbieland authenticity and Gerwig’s willingness to undercut both Barbie and Ken leads, only to build them back up again.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) 32% “Five Nights at Freddy’s had everything working in its favor. The film’s cast has a solid cinematic genealogy. Jim Henson Creature Shop assisted with animatronics. FNAF fandom waited in anticipation for years, continuing to world-build and create lore.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Black Widow (2021) 79% “Black Widow is the story audiences deserve, arriving much later than audiences hoped, and in a time frame that’s not quite big enough to suffice the story.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Haunted Mansion (2023) 38% 3.5/5 “Haunted Mansion comes to audiences 20 years after the Eddie Murphy led version. Although curiously debuting in the summer, the film’s cast and script bring the necessary topic of grief and how to work through it to the forefront, all in an unabashed way. ” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Wish (2023) 48% 3.5/5 “Wish feels soulless at times, but the film is a step in the right direction for Disney Animation Studios, as the company acknowledges they have fresh characters, not merely sequels, even if the characters retread classic storylines. ” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review The Marvels (2023) 62% 4/5 “The Marvels fixes multiple issues MCU movies are notorious for, but does not manage to fix them all. DaCosta takes some wide and successful swings in her 3rd picture, which really allows Iman Vellani to shine in her film debut.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review The Boy and the Heron (2023) 96% 4.5/5 “The Boy and The Heron deftly moves between commercialization, militarism, trauma and grief, family dynamics, geopolitics, the universe, and individuality.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) 95% 3.5/5 “The latest version of TMNT is the fourth iteration on film and possibly the best one yet. These characters feel more alive than ever before thanks to teen spirit & some heavy-handed culture.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) 93% 5/5 “With Killers of the Flower Moon, Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Scorsese deliver a well-crafted epic that contextualizes white, American terror. The Osage Nation is simultaneously present and reduced in the film.” – Naija Nerds Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Frybread Face and Me (2023) 96% “The new coming-of-age film from Billy Luther, produced by ARRAY, asks the young Navajo protagonists to share their personal traumas and tragedies as well as those of their family members. Because of this weighty task, the film feels slightly uneven.” – Geek Vibes Nation Jan 1, 2024 Full Review Carpet Cowboys (2023) 93% 8/10 “The film ends up being a cognitive exercise in regret, fate, and passing of the torch, never overflowing with somber acceptance or directly speaking to capitalism. The filmmakers don’t shun images of death though.” – Geek Vibes Nation Jan 1, 2024 Full Review My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 (2023) 31% 5.5/10 “Overall, this sequel is more enjoyable than the second one, but the film is merely too crowded, so it’s difficult to enjoy it more than the original.” – Geek Vibes Nation Sep 8, 2023 Full Review The Batman (2022) 85% 9/10 “This latest Batman tale is grounded, noir and detective based, and a highly realistic entry into the movie mythos of the caped crusader.” – Naija Nerds Sep 7, 2023 Full Review
