Borderlands (2024) 10% “If you do want to see Borderlands, wait until you can stream it at home. That way, if it annoys you too much, you can always pick up your controller and play the original games instead. You'll have a much better time.” – TechRadar Aug 20, 2024 Full Review Imaginary (2024) 24% 2/5 “Aesthetically it's good, with decent sound design and an atmosphere that mirrors some old-school horror movies, but the style over substance approach is disappointing when the movie could've gone a lot harder than it did.” – What To Watch Mar 27, 2024 Full Review Immaculate (2024) 71% 4/5 “It's a horror lover's dream as there's so much to take in, that it will likely benefit from a subsequent viewing to fully appreciate all the details.” – What To Watch Mar 27, 2024 Full Review Five Nights at Freddy's (2023) 32% 2.5/5 “Want a good scare this Halloween? My advice would be to stay home, turn the lights down, and play the original Five Nights at Freddy's. You'll have a much better time. ” – What To Watch Oct 25, 2023 Full Review Saw X (2023) 81% 4/5 “Saw X gives fans even more insight into Jigsaw's personal life and motivations, with a career-best performance from Tobin Bell.” – What To Watch Sep 28, 2023 Full Review Haunted Mansion (2023) 38% 3/5 “A tour guide, a medium, a priest and a historian walk into a haunted mansion. There's no punchline, just an effective, spooky nostalgia trip for Disney lovers everywhere.” – What To Watch Aug 10, 2023 Full Review Renfield (2023) 58% 3.5/5 “Cage shines as an exaggerated Prince of Darkness opposite Hoult's tender, self-reflective Renfield who just wants freedom.” – What To Watch Apr 12, 2023 Full Review The Strays (2023) 52% 4/5 “Ashley Madekwe plays a very unlikeable yet compelling protagonist in The Strays, and it's full of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.” – What To Watch Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Smile (2022) 79% 3/5 “The smile will soon be wiped off your face once you've been bombarded with shocks, gore, trauma and Cristobal Tapia de Veer's harrowing sound design.” – What To Watch Sep 28, 2022 Full Review Fall (2022) 79% 4/5 “It's an adrenaline-filled thrill ride that makes you feel like you're up there with them, thanks to some excellent special effects and great lead performances.” – What To Watch Sep 1, 2022 Full Review Book of Love (2022) 51% “Book of Love is predictable, yet fun and it's worth sticking on if you want to cosy up and escape reality for a couple of hours.” – What To Watch Jun 11, 2022 Full Review Jurassic World Dominion (2022) 29% 3.5/5 “Jurassic World: Dominion teams nostalgic moments and some thrilling new dinosaurs to put an emotional end to the much-loved franchise.” – What To Watch Jun 9, 2022 Full Review X (2022) 94% 4/5 “X by name, extreme by nature. Ti West's horror comeback doesn't pull any punches and it's full of sex, violence and plenty of great scares.” – What To Watch Mar 21, 2022 Full Review Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) 30% 2.5/5 “Despite some impressive gory moments and an eerie central performance, Texas Chainsaw Massacre does little else to stand out from the mountain of other sequels.” – What To Watch Feb 18, 2022 Full Review The Power of the Dog (2021) 94% 4/5 “The complexity of Phil Burbank's character is played brilliantly by Cumberbatch, leaving the audience conflicted on how to feel about him.” – What To Watch Nov 22, 2021 Full Review Ron's Gone Wrong (2021) 82% 4/5 “Ron's Gone Wrong has some gorgeous animation, a catchy soundtrack, and a great screenplay with some seriously hilarious moments. On top of all that, there's a great moral of the story too. What's not to love?” – Lucy Goes to Hollywood Nov 21, 2021 Full Review Dune (2021) 83% 4/5 “With any ensemble cast, there's an expectation that it will deliver, and it does. The performances in Dune are fantastic and there's depth to the characters...” – What To Watch Oct 22, 2021 Full Review The Changed (2021) 80% 4/5 “Overall it's an unnerving, eerily slow burn of a film, which will definitely have audiences asking questions around what they'd do in this kind of scenario.
