The Accountant 2 (2025) 77% 3/5 “Ben Affleck playing older bro to Bernthal's little bro is terrific, because If I had to guess the most annoying little brother in showbiz—it'd be Casey Affleck.” – Epoch Times Apr 24, 2025 Full Review Eric LaRue (2023) 71% 3.5/5 “'Eric LaRue' should be chased with documentaries 'I Am Living Proof' and 'The Work'; soul healing is available in both religious and non-religious settings.” – Epoch Times Apr 22, 2025 Full Review The Legend of Ochi (2025) 80% 3/5 “A mash-up of 'E.T.,' 'The Goonies,' and 'Borat' by way of a Wes Anderson movie, replete with Willem Dafoe ensconced in his wheelhouse of Loony Tunes characters.” – Epoch Times Apr 18, 2025 Full Review The Amateur (2025) 61% 3.5/5 “Malek’s movie niche involves physically frail men with scary levels of grit and determination, so this story, while unrealistic, is something he can sell well.” – Epoch Times Apr 16, 2025 Full Review Warfare (2025) 93% 4/5 “Based on memories of the actual SEALs involved, this hyper-violent, naturalistic portrayal of combat couldn't spring authentically from a civilian filmmaker.” – Epoch Times Apr 11, 2025 Full Review The Hermit of Treig (2022) 100% 4/5 “If you're a fan of wilderness writer Farley Mowat and fly-fisherman-author John Gierach, you'll enjoy this documentary about Scottish hermit-author Ken Smith.” – Epoch Times Apr 11, 2025 Full Review The Luckiest Man in America (2024) 66% 3/5 ““The Luckiest Man in America” gets you thinking about how gaming systems are rigged and whether that automatically makes cheating acceptable.” – Epoch Times Apr 5, 2025 Full Review Audrey's Children (2024) 88% 3.5/5 “While not a stellar biopic, "Audrey’s Children" is sure to inspire good deeds in medical profession aspirants and is definitely worth a watch for everyone.” – Epoch Times Apr 3, 2025 Full Review A Working Man (2025) 49% 2.5/5 ““A Working Man” is no “The Beekeeper.” I'm a Statham fan, but this load of useless carnage leaves disturbing images in your mind. It isn't worth the ticket.” – Epoch Times Apr 3, 2025 Full Review I Am Living Proof (2025) 4.5/5 “Having personally witnessed faith heal stage-4 cancer and 'incurable' ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease), this fine documentary is proof that I'm not the only one.” – Epoch Times Mar 28, 2025 Full Review Bob Trevino Likes It (2024) 95% 3.5/5 “'Bob Trevino Likes It' reminds us that valuable human relationships can occur randomly and that spiritual connections can be far more powerful than bloodlines.” – Epoch Times Mar 26, 2025 Full Review The Alto Knights (2025) 40% 3/5 “"The Alto Knights" is not a bad gangster film, but unfortunately Barry Levinson is not Martin Scorsese when it comes to the telling of terrific mob tales.” – Epoch Times Mar 25, 2025 Full Review The Electric State (2025) 15% 3/5 “The always-amusing Chris Pratt and the hugely charismatic Millie Bobby Brown play characters who adventure with cute 1950s style robots. It's great escapism.” – Epoch Times Mar 22, 2025 Full Review Eephus (2024) 100% 3/5 “Director Carson Lund presents the 'eephus' metaphor—yearning for a fast life while living a slow one, which passes by before we know it—as a hittable pitch.” – Epoch Times Mar 20, 2025 Full Review Black Bag (2025) 96% “With its suits, eyewear, and interior design giving off a 1960s' retro vibe, Soderbergh has crafted an exceptionally taut-yet-funny, stylish spook thriller.” – Epoch Times Mar 12, 2025 Full Review Queen of the Ring (2024) 73% 3/5 “"Queen of the Ring" utilizes the standard biopic formula to give credit to the force of nature who changed women’s wrestling forever.” – Epoch Times Mar 9, 2025 Full Review Millers in Marriage (2024) 56% 3.5/5 “The moral of 'Millers' is, if you don't compliment your spouse on a regular basis, some other man or woman will be happy to do it for you. ” – Epoch Times Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Last Breath (2025) 80% 3.5/5 “The highly engrossing 'Last Breath' features the cool-headed, 'right stuff' of Navy pilots and any crew of men who nonchalantly do dangerous jobs for a living. ” – Epoch Times Mar 1, 2025 Full Review Cleaner (2025) 50% 2.5/5 “'Cleaner' is like if Bruce Willis sat around for an hour instead of figuring out how to yippee-ki-yay terrorists in 'Die Hard.' Somebody get Ridley a new agent.” – Epoch Times Feb 26, 2025 Full Review Captain America: Brave New World (2025) 48% 2.5/5 “The film works best as a platform for Mackie to emerge from Chris Evans' shadow, but doesn't successfully create a distinct enough personality.” – Epoch Times Feb 23, 2025 Full Review Ex-Husbands (2023) 83% 2/5 “A comedy about a family's three generations of male romantic malaise. The jokes are mostly squelched by the tangible depression felt by the collective menfolk.” – Epoch Times Feb 21, 2025 Full Review The Gorge (2025) 63% 3/5 “"The Gorge" is pretty much “The Bourne Legacy," “You’ve Got Mail,” and "The Island of Dr. Moreau," mashed into a surprisingly fun Valentine's Day date movie.” – Epoch Times Feb 17, 2025 Full Review My Dead Friend Zoe (2024) 95% 3.5/5 “Director Hausmann-Stokes’s message is simple: Make America great again by walking a mile in our veterans’ shoes and adding them to your daily gratitude list.” – Epoch Times Feb 17, 2025 Full Review Uppercut (2025) 0% 1/5 “The best thing about 'Uppercut' is that, unlike Clint Eastwood's 'Million Dollar Baby,' there’s no brain-dead lady boxer at the end.” – Epoch Times Feb 5, 2025 Full Review Inheritance (2025) 54% 3/5 “The solid performances, in particular Phoebe Dynevor's pout-y charisma, make “Inheritance” a modest yet entertaining espionage yarn.” – Epoch Times Feb 5, 2025 Full Review
