It's cute, I like the music, innocent 80's style, makes me feel happy. I love the actors. I remember when I saw this at 20 year old, 40 years ago, I cried for the computer at the end. Of course, I went on to find out that I love Giorgio Moroder's music, both before I had ever heard of him, and since. It might not be realistic at all, but I don't care a bit about that.

If you go into this movie not expecting anything too serious and just have a fun time with it, you'll likely enjoy it! It has some great songs in it, fun characters, and some good laughs. Edgar's voice and personality are very enjoyable as well. The critics are just taking this too seriously and need to seriously lighten up.

The movie really didn't have a lot of story. It felt like a vehicle to string together a bunch of music videos. Bit of a shame because the title track song is great, the characters are charming and the tech feels mighty nostalgic. I remember those little electronic diaries that separated the corporate high fliers from the novices. So I really wanted to like this movie. I didn't mind the champagne + data dump = sentient being silliness because it was an 80s fantasy. But overall there was just not enough compelling drama and I was thoroughly bored after an hour.
