elizabeth Great Tuesday night classic to see with my grandma! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/25 Full Review Vitor O Good B horror movie by Roger Corman, with an interesting premise and a young Jack Nicholson in one of his first roles in cinema. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Memphis A Honestly for a low-buget 60s B-Movie just shot in 2 days, it's not half bad, but its not great. The acting, sets, and Aurdey Junior, aren't that bad. Though I do feel like this movie does have some filler, especially the chase at the end of the movie. I did wish this film would have include more of the dectative/mystery aspect of the film, since it would have greatly impacted the story. Although the 1986 Musical remake, based on the 1982 stageshow is the superior film, The 1960s original is still worth watching. That film does remove the human flower buds, which removes a lot of creepy factor in that aspect. At the end of the day, this is a funny & werid movie. That still worth watching over 60 years later. Edit: This movie does have the superior Macoist Dentist scene, since Seymour actually does the Macoist's teeth unlike the remake, where Orin does his teeth.
