laurent b Very original script for this horror movie that would deserve to be among the best classical australian horror movies. The soundtrack is beautiful. And so is the cinematography. My only bug would be the ending, which is a bit inconsistent... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/06/25 Full Review Audience Member An interesting set up leads to slight disappointment. In Thirst our main character Kate is too whiney and undecided for most of the running time, when she finally decides to become "The Baroness" it's far far too late. A few inventive ideas and interesting scenes cant save the meandering plot. Still Thirst is a decent take on a Cult story and there are worse things to watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review delysid d A terrifying look into the australian vampire underground... ARRRGH!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/27/18 Full Review Audience Member Boring and predictable Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Very strange movie, one part The Tenant, One part Soylent Green, One part Dracula, One part mind fuck. Were they actual vampires or just loonies? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A very uneven film. Some very interesting themes and camera work but ultimately it fizzles put under it's own absurd weight. Worth watching for some hallucinatory special effects.
