Horror fan 4 Look the star power is there but this movie rips off many classics. All that aside the musical numbers are bland and it's cheesy as hell. Could've been worse though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review Audience Member Shows there is more range to Keanu Reeves than he gets credit for. Sure he has a black stare on his face here and there. He knows when to sing and look happy at least lol. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member ) This was my favorite movie any time of year as a child, and now my kids love it too (although I did have to explain a payphone and other relics). Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A "so bad, it's good" Christmas special, this made-for-온라인카지노추천 movie based off of a form of opera called an operetta (and this isn't even the first film adaptation) is full of camp from the cheesy set design and production values to the performances that notably consist of "Bill & Ted" era Keanu Reeves looking bland (ah, the days when people made fun of the guy for looking emotionless and just saying "Whoa" before John Wick silenced anyone who couldn't get into the Matrix, no pun intended) make this something that, if you're not in any hurry to watch it, you can always just get a shortened version via snarky YouTube reviews since, as mentioned in earlier reviews, the editing does a good job of compressing the movie into a 20-minute review. But even just from clips, I cam tell that this Christmas adventure is not good. Poor little Drew Barrymore, looking all cute and sincere and sometimes looking like she's trying to take what she's in seriously :( Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member As having played a "Cookie Factory Worker" in the film, I may be biased LOL BUT, you cannot watch this film as some epic masterpiece, high bidget production. It was meant to be a fun, light-hearted Christmas made-for-온라인카지노추천 movie. The set was fun, albeit long hours. The cast was dear and being that Drew was only 12 at the time and finding herself as a child actor/preteen while on set is something I had the privilege of seeing first hand. We sometimes sat eating lunch as a group (sometimes in the bowling ball LOL) and she was truly a sweetheart. The movie itself should simply be enjoyed for the simplicity of it. It was endearing and meant to touch children's hearts...which, by all accounts of the many that watched it many times as a child, it hit the mark. Not everything needs to be new and high tech to make an impression - and not everything needs to be over the top to bring joy :) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The makeup and costumes were impressive for 1986, but everything else about this was one-dimensional - the characters, acting, dialogue, plot, moral of the story, even the "second dimension." The most compelling thing happened by accident: Drew Barrymore playing a child who grew up too fast. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
