Gentle farmer Arthur Hoggett (James Cromwell) wins a piglet named Babe (Christine Cavanaugh) at a county fair. I worked at a Philharmonic orchestra as an usher, heard the original Camille Saint-Saëns, asked myself for several days where I knew the melody from, and couldn't stop smiling when I found out it was from Babe. Really wholesome. Brilliant and heartfelt movie

Animals on a farm. Cute and engaging for kids and adults alike. I don't understand negative reviews for this movie. Perhaps they are reviewing Babe 2, which is an anomaly of a movie. The stuff cult classics are made of.
