Peter Bradshaw Guardian There [isn't] much zip to the script. But, shot by the late Andrew Lesnie... it always looks good. Rated: 3/5 Apr 11, 2025 Full Review Jay Boyar Orlando Sentinel Much to my surprise, I found Babe charming in an eccentric, oddly tough-minded sort of way. And if it isn't quite good enough to change my mind about the entire critter-chat genre, it is certainly good enough to recommend. Jun 16, 2015 Full Review Richard Schickel TIME Magazine He's brave and bright, good-natured and ambitious, naive and vulnerable. All in all, he's probably the most winsome orphan to appear on the screen since Freddie Bartholomew impersonated David Copperfield 60 years ago. Aug 19, 2014 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins It may be an airy fairy tale, quick and simple, but it’s exquisitely upbeat and sweet, with a perfectly triumphant finale. Rated: 8/10 Mar 2, 2025 Full Review Wesley Lovell Cinema Sight Babe is a delightful tale told with untold depths of joy and acceptance. It says that not only should you be accepted for who you are, you should be accepted regardless of what you choose to do or who you choose to be. Rated: 4/4 Nov 26, 2022 Full Review Danielle Solzman Solzy at the Movies Over 25 years later, Babe remains one of 1995's best pictures of the year. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/25 Full Review Erik B I worked at a Philharmonic orchestra as an usher, heard the original Camille Saint-Saëns, asked myself for several days where I knew the melody from, and couldn't stop smiling when I found out it was from Babe. Really wholesome. Brilliant and heartfelt movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Merilia V Favorite movie growing up, I love it even now. As Snape said, "Always.". Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review m s Animals on a farm. Cute and engaging for kids and adults alike. I don't understand negative reviews for this movie. Perhaps they are reviewing Babe 2, which is an anomaly of a movie. The stuff cult classics are made of. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/25 Full Review Read all reviews
